  [Abstract]SixteencompoundswereisolatedfromtheaerialpartsofEuphorbiasikkimensisbymeansofvariouschromatographictechniquessuchassilicagel,SephadesLH-20andRP-18,andtheirstructureswereelucidatedasnaringenin(1),kaempferol(2),quercetin(3),kaempferol-3-O-α-L-arabinopyranoside(4),quercetin-3-O-α-L-arabinopyranoside(5),quercetin-3-O-(2″-galloyl)-α-L-arabinopyranoside(6),5α,8α-epidioxy-(22E,24R)-ergosta-6,22-dien-3β-ol(7),stigmast-5-ene-7-one-3β-ol(8),3β-hydroxy-4α,14α-dimethyl-5α-ergosta-8,24(28)-dien-7-one(9),β-sitosterol(10),10-cucurbitadienol(11),scopoletin(12),ethylgallate(13),p-hydroxybenzaldehyde(14),3-hydroxybenzeneethanol(15),and2,4-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-acetophenone(16)onthebasisofspectroscopicdataanalysis.Allthecompoundsareisolatedfromthisplantforthefirsttime,andcompounds1,4-8,15areobtainedfromEuphorbiaspeciesforthefirsttime.
